Travel & Stay
Guests traveling from abroad should fly into Munich International Airport (MUC). From the airport, renting a car is the easiest way to reach Lake Tegernsee, with a drive time of approximately 60–75 minutes.
Wedding events will take place primarily in Tegernsee proper, where the Fogt family home is located. Tegernsee and Rottach-Egern are the most convenient towns for accommodations.
Please note that Tegernsee is a popular summer destination and hotels book quickly. We recommend reserving accommodations as early as possible.

From Munich Airport, take the S-Bahn (S1 or S8) to Munich Hauptbahnhof (central station)

From Munich Hauptbahnhof, take the regional rail operated by Bayerische Regiobahn (BRB) to Tegernsee (some trains go via Gmund, depending on your final stop)
OPTION 3: Private shuttle / taxi / ride-share
